Absolutely not. Every service we provide at Maravilla is at no cost to eligible customers.
Maravilla income qualifies each potential customer for energy services, through the State of California and the utility companies. The easiest way to find out if you qualify is to contact our energy customer service representative at (323) 869-4534.
There are several fine agencies in Los Angeles County that offer the kind of weatherization services Maravilla does. If you live near West L.A., Hollywood, Glendale or the San Fernando Valley, call CES at (818) 894-8121. If you live near South L.A., Mid City, Long Beach or the South Bay, call PACE at (213) 353-3982. If you live near Pomona, Whittier, El Monte or Norwalk, call VICS at (562) 204-0529. If you’re not sure who to contact, call us directly and we’ll make sure you are referred to the correct agency.
Because of the demand for the no cost services we offer, at this time it will take anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks for our crews to come out to your house. We ask all of our customers to be patient, we will do everything we can to expedite this process so that you are serviced as soon as possible.
Call our HEAP department directly at (323) 721-4162. Please keep in mind that there is a limited number of customers we are allowed to sign up for utility assistance, and we are required to assist those most in need first. So if you need help, call us and arrange for an appointment as soon as you can so we can process you faster.
Our senior citizen program at Casa Maravilla does deliver hot meals to senior citizens who cannot leave the home. Just say you are interested in our Congregate Meal Program, and that you require home delivery, and we’ll make sure your parent is taken care of.
To be eligible for the WIA Youth Program, you must be between the ages of 14 and 21, and live in one of the following zip codes: 90022/90023/90040/90063. You also must have income or academic barriers in order to be enrolled. Youth that are in danger of dropping out of school and youth who have already dropped out are both eligible. Make an appointment with one of our case managers to talk over your specific situation. |
